How do I delete windows from my laptop after installing Linux?

During installation the installer will give you the option of using the entire disk when installing, which will wipe out Windows. You may want to create a set of recovery disks before you wipe it, just in case you later decide to go back to Windows. If you specify manual partitioning, if your laptop has a recovery partition, it will show up in the partitoner, and you can delete the Windows partitions and leave the recovery partition. If you don't care about being able to go back to Windows, there's nothing wrong with letting the installer erase the entire disk and automatically set it up.
