If you have downloaded an ISO image you just copy it to a USB drive and when you turn on your computer just press the key to open your boot menu and select the USB drive and it will ask for your language and now you can run Linux off a USB drive.

Angelgomez919, can you specify/clarify what "this system" is that you're tryig to navigate? It could be a distribution of Linux, Windows, PC-DOS or something else. All can be booted from USB sticks. Typically the "removable bit" has to be flagged to make a USB stick bootable and there are several tools to do this. We can help you further/better if you provide some details.

Regards.

Download and use NETBOOTIN (just google it) It makes creating a bootable Linux USB super easy. You can download and "burn" many different distributions from within the program or select the ISO file from disk.

If you already have a computer booted into Linux then you can copy the storage device which you booted from to the flash drive using the ddrescue command. If you don't already have a computer booted into Linux then you can boot any computer into Linux by using a 'live' Linux disk/usb stick, and install the 'live' version of Linux on to your computer's flash drive. It would be helpful to know a bit about your setup to give you more specific help.
