Installing driver and mounting phone
Evening: For much longer than is necessary, I've been trying to install a driver for this phone so it could be "mounted". For much longer than necessary, this has failed! I've read just about every "help site", post. blog and tutorial I could find, but to no avail. Have followed directions to a tee! Did get LM17.3 to show the phone hardware I.D, but it wouldn't mount. Once in awhile, after D/l driver, the comp will say it installed it, but never have had any comp recognize the phone as yet. Can't imagine what is wrong/what I could be doing wrong??? Hope there's someone here who is knowledgeable of cell phones and how to get a comp to recognize them. I sure could use your help. I've wasted far too much time and had far too may failures. It just can't be this difficult!! Am at wit's end and before long I'll install that driver...with a 4 lb.sledge!! Would you, PLEASE, help? phone specs: Samsung GalaxyS Anycall model shw-m110s running Froyo 2.2 and "rooted". Have tried on many Win7 and LM17.3 machines. THANK YOU: Rick
