Keyboard errors with Mint - answers?
Migrating from XP; trying out various Linux systems. With Mint some of the keyboard keys do not function correctly. The 'at' symbol shows as inverted commas ' " ', the '?' comes out as '/', etc. In particular, if attempting to log on to e-mail, the input of 'your name@ our server' becomes 'your name"our server'. Any answers?

First: do you use Mint as live system(that's only in English, so the keyboard also) or have you installed Mint?
If you have it installed, you have to change the system language to your language.
Menu-> control centre-> Languages-> choose your language-> make it system language.
