If printer has its own IP address is not a Windows printer, it's just a common printer used by windows machines. If they're printing from Win you can obviously print from Linux
Please provide these two information:
- Printer Name and Model
- Printer connection (USB, Net, ...) if printer is connected to the net you probably don't need so much information, if it's connected to a pc you need something more to configure
