There are a couple of variables to concern yourself with. First, the model of your card. Second, the version of your kernel. Third, the driver that should be used.

1. try either lspci or lshw to find the make and model of your wireless card.
2. uname -r will give your kernel version.
3. some googling for the card model number and the kernel version should yield some usefule results. If not, then we can re-address this in the forums, where it's easier to do some troubleshooting.
