which is the best linux phone commercially hit?

i heard of android,moblin,maemo and more names under mobile linux.which is commercially hit?

which phone can be best option in INDIA ?

After Linux Collaboration Summit I fell in love with Nexus One from Google/HTC, Android based.
What an amazing phone ! Simply great, fun, easy (but a little bit classy) and damn fast !
I'm dealing with android SDK and it's easy even if you'd like to develop application on it

Palm Pre can be called as a commercially hit phone.....

If you like android then HTC Magic is a good option..

And I am not aware of any maemo phones available in market.

I don't know about India specifically, but the palm pre is a new linux-based OS (they call WebOS). I've noticed several postings from Joey Hess on planet.debian.org about the Palm Pre. He's gotten a debian chroot working on it. Here are two relevant links:

I don't own a Pre myself, but I keep seeing his articles popping up in my feed aggregator and it seems like there's some neat developments in the Pre world.
