Windows XP to Linux OS

I want to replace my old, XP OS to Linux OS, and I would appreciate any assistance on how to do it.

Answer to the question

If you're coming from XP, your computer's hardware specs might require something lightweight.  I use and recommend Linux Lite (www.linuxliteos.com).

Since you also say you need assistance on how to move to Linux, I think you'll appreciate the documentation and support forum offered by Linux Lite.  Specifically, look here:  https://www.linuxliteos.com/manual/.

If your hardware specs are particularly modest, you might need something even more lightweight like LXLE (www.lxle.net), PeppermintOS, or Lubuntu.

Answer to the question

The link given is a great resource. As far as th distro, I would pick Zorin. I have converted many XP users and the menus and how the desktop looks and feels is very easy to adjust to.
