Bios flash update
I need some help finding a free bios update for my hp media center tower with a phoenix motherboard Pentium D 3.00Ghz dual core. I have 2 towers and the other is running Fedora, but the tower I need the help on is running Win 7 ultimate. The HP site branches me to a third party charging $30 for something that should be free. I am scared to try a manual bios code entry cause I am unfamiliar with this process. I've never had any problems with Dells on this matter cause they were always offered as part of the standard windows update check. Any help would be much appreciated. I have 8 GB ram installed, but my motherboard will only recognize 6GB
