I am sick of Microsoft and would like to switch to Linux.
I have roughly 1 - 2tb of data - primarily PDFs, .AVI video files and .odf Open Office documents and spreadsheets.
How do I get the data from my Windows box to my new Notebook with Linux.
1) This amount of data is too much for DVD transfer.
2) I thought I would be able to do this with a flash drive, but none that I see are compatible with both Linux AND Windows
3) ditto for web storage sites?
So how do I get my data from Windows to a new Linux box?
