How to adapt Verison AC 30 92E8 to work on Linux Mint 12
I just got on Linux Mint 12 and want to get on line. I have been using a Verizon AC 30 92E8, I think that's the right number, on Windows but it won't let me set up on Linux. This is a USB type modem. The book says it works on Windows 7 SP1 and Vista SP 1 or XP SP 3. Is there someway to get this to work on my Linux Mint 12. This is my only internet access so I really need it to be able to work on both computers. Is there a download I need or am I going to have to buy something else to access the net. I'm a total newbie to Linux and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys
