Installation of Mint via DVD
I have an old-ish Dell inspiron 6400 (2017). 32bit. 60gb hard disk. Vista SP2. I wish to overwrite the Vista with Linux mint. I've downloaded Mint 32 onto a DVD but I can't get the installation to excecute. Also I do not get the Dell spash logo when I start the computer (if that is relevant).
What is the correct proceedure for this action please?
