The Amarok developers have announced the release of version 2.1 (code-named Let There Be Light) of their popular free music player for Linux and Unix systems. Version 2.1 of Amarok includes several improvements, new features and bug fixes.

The release features playlist improvements that allow users to easily search for tracks, filter content, queue tracks and even tell Amarok to stop playing after a specific track...
