On this topic I found posts from 2010, so I guess its obsolete. But not for me. How to setup wireless connection on Mint 18-Sarah? Can any smart developer create software for dummies which will be included in the updates :) Until , please help.

I had wireless and then I lost same while downloading torrent files. Cant get it back. Computer doesn't show any wireless connections. when I click on wireless icon and click on enable wireless it replys that i am working offline. How do i get my wireless back

I downloaded Ubuntu onto a USB stick. It runs OK on a Dell pc with a faulty hard drive, except it will not communicate wirelessly with our internet router.

The wireless has not been functional. Previously, the laptop had Windows XP and the wireless worked just fine.
