Justin Chapweske writes “Some mainstream software still doesn’t support files greater than 2GB. To encourage vendors and developers to fix this ridiculous problem I’ve created the Large File Support Hall of Shame.

In the age of 300GB+ consumer hard drives, it amazes me that there is still main stream software that doesn’t support files greater than 2GB in size.

If you find software that is exhibiting such behavior, please post it to the comments on the Hall of Shame and also let the software developer know about the problem.

By the end of this year, I’d like to see any actively maintained software with large file support issues fully fix these problems and give users and developers the functionality that they rightfully expect.”
