Torben Nehmer writes “The Midgard Project has released the final stable version of the Midgard Components Framework 2.0, now based on the filesystem, not on the Database. Significant performance improvements come out of this.
This next generation of MidCOM features these changes:
- Code is no longer served from the Midgard Database, leading to a huge performance increase.
- The AIS layout has been optimized for usability.
- A centralized toolbar mechanismn now makes creation of UI toolbars both in AIS and on-site very easy, also unifying ther look & feel.
- Several minor improvements for performance and stability have been made.
