Trademark Charges – A New Open Source Sequel?

13
Werner Heuser writes “Mandrake, MobiliX, Lindows,… there has been a bunch of trademark
charges against Open Source and commercial Linux projects over the
last few months. I am the former owner of MobiliX, which is now
TuxMobil – Linux On Mobile Computers.
After I have been forced by Obelix to withdraw MobiliX,
I became aware of
more than 15 trademark
cases in the Open Source
world
. This sequel started almost at the beginning of the Linux history
with a case about the Linux trademark itself.”
