The Jaluna VxWorks compatibility kit when combined with Jaluna-1 enables them to re-use, validate and deploy existing applications and third-party libraries and benefit from open source royalty free deployment with minimum risk and cost investment.
The Jaluna VxWorks compatibility kit is offered as an add-on to the Jaluna-1 Carrier-Grade Edition, powered by the C5 real-time microkernel. This highly available, real-time operating system runs out of the box and is supplied with complete source code and top grade documentation. The compatibility kit features VxWorks 5.4 emulation and translation of VxWorks system calls to C5 system calls, thus preserving their real-time behaviour.
