Sun Microsystems' Co-Founder and Chief Scientist Bill Joy to Leave Company

Bill Joy, a Sun Microsystems Inc. co-founder who was once dubbed the Thomas Edison of the Internet for his leading role in the creation of several major technologies, said Tuesday he is leaving the computer company to pursue other interests.
