Lost in the Ozone: some Epson-printed photos fade in high-Ozone environments

PCWorld story notes a problem with output from Epson Stylus Photo 870, 875DC, and 1270 inkjet printers, namely that photos printed on them turn orange quickly if you live in an area with a high Ozone concentration. Epson is offering to buy back these printers from dissatisfied customers, and plans to offer a new kind of paper soon that will correct the problem.

I recently stumbled upon the awsome mp3 player Thinkgeek offers. I noticed a link saying 'download Linux source' and was puzzled when, after I followed this link I ended up at Compaq's website, where I had to agree to a Compaq Intellectual Property license before I could download the source code. What happened to the GPL license Linux comes with? Is it possible to remove the GPL after modifying the Linux source tree? If so, what good is a GPL license? -BOFH_org
