<div>
                        About a year ago, I started my own IT consulting business. I was tracking my client site visits, time spent on site, and mileage the hard way....with Openoffice.org Spreadsheet. Well, not that it was all that hard, really, but I would like to use a small database, instead. Before trying to create one, I thought that it might be a good idea to look for one that was already created. Why reinvent the wheel, you know? I did a lot of research but was unable to find anything. Anyone know of something like that out there?

Thanks!</div>

                        Maybe I don't quite understand your requirement but can't you use:

Analog -- produces simple summary of all the people who have visited your site.

Webalizer -- More complex stats program that produces a nice variety of charts and graphs about who has visited your site.

                        Settle might be just what you're looking for. You can track time and expenses for multiple companies and job codes. I just started using it in my company to track time internally.

The only downsides from a configuration standpoint are that it's Java-based so you need to set up Apache Tomcat, and there aren't web interfaces for everything yet, so you will need to do some stuff in the raw database.

There's a demo available here: http://www2.swiftradius.com/settleAutoBuild/.

                        Hello,

I am one of the developers on the Settle project and just wanted to add to this thread.

Despite the fact that we haven't released in some time, there are significant improvments to this application in HEAD and it is production quality (v9) These include; improved configurability through UI, updates to break costing codes into tasks, improved expense entry, improved reporting, etc. The version tagged &quot;Settle v0_9_3_RB&quot; contains several bug fixes/improvments to this release. We are planning a major release for sometime in the near future which will involve some code cleanup and improved exception handling, we will be considering this our 1.0 release. We will also attempt to answer questions and help with problems as our schedule allows if contacted.

Thank you for your interest and support of Settle.
