mouse doesn't work after wake up

Subject: mouse doesn't work after wake up
hi I was running fedora but then switch to ubuntu with compiz fuzion and I love it and on both of them the mouse didn't work after waking the laptop, is there any way of fixing this it work after restarting the system I have a gateway laptop mx 6650 1.8Gh,2Gb memory

Hibernate and the eventual wakeup on a laptop sometimes needs tweeking before everything works properly. Does your mouse work when rebooting? If it works ok after a reboot, then your problem is usually with the program that's performing the hibernate. no din't work, wen it wakes up everything works exept the mouse, I have to plug my usb mouse in order to use it after it come from suspend, eny other idea?

if I use hibernate when the laptop wake up the mouse works but when I use suspend the mouse stop working
