Are you using Konqueror or Firefox as your browser? If the required software is not already installed, then you should see a prompt/button to install the plugin. Follow it. Ante Joined Mar 28, 2008 Posts: 122 Other Topics	Posted: Apr 28, 2008 4:57:32 PM Subject: Linux "version" of Java thing is, youtube checks your browser if it can run flash movies with java and hence display something about you needing flash instead of the usual "click here to install plugin" I can't say anything for java, but head over to another website with flash in it and you should be able to install 'normally'

If you're runnning 7.10, do this: 1. Open a terminal 2. Type the command: sudo apt-get install kubuntu-restricted-extras This will install MP3 support, DVD playback, Java plugin, and Flash plugin Cheers!
