Hi tektroonik, 1. A Novel distro : OpenSUSE 10.3 1.1. http://www.opensuse.org 2. I don't think you have much trouble for installing OpenSUSE 2.1 Maybe you get in a trouble when you must decision about Partitioning. 2.2.1. And it's depend on your HDD, Existence Partitions and what you want to do with your HDD 2.2.2. Take a look at Partionting in Linux Forums, like this Vigol Mehrshad Moslehi

It is made fore it to be easy for new commers to linux. I dont like ubuntu very much, way too user freindly for me (i use debian wich is still user freindly but not overly)
