Subject: Rendering issues all over the place.
I am trying to get my ati radeon x1650 video card up and running. Fedora seems to understand that i have it and that i have drivers for it but it will not render anything. I tested it with this command su -c 'glxinfo | grep direct' I get this back direct rendering: Yes Beyond that command i have been testing it by trying to run a few games with wine. I would venture a guess that the problem is with Wine and not with your OS or drivers. Wine seems to have problems with many of the graphic intensive games. You should check the Wine site and see if your games have any known issues.

If it ain't broke, you aren't trying hard enough.
