Subject: gtk-warning cannot open display
I am sure this is a very basic error for you guys but some searches didn't help me find the resolution. This is a shiny new install of RedHat Advanced Server in a VM on Windows XP. I installed GNOME but it takes me to a command prompt on boot instead of the desktop. I do a gnome-terminal and get gtk-warning cannot open display xhost +localhost produces the same error. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

What VM software are you using? What graphics card do you have?
