How can i use sql server with freenas?

I installed freenas on my computer that has one disk with two partitions .I have access to share folder [EX: /mnt/freenas_ad0 ] .I want to know that when the server which is sql server ,fail how can I use the data in freenas.

I'm not sure I totally understand your problem, but if you want mySQL to write its data to /mnt/freenas_ad0 then simply modify your my.cnf (typically found under /etc) and change datadir= to datadir=/mnt/freenas_ad0 Hope that helps some. ...corey
