Joined Jul 26, 2008 Posts: 703 Location: Other Topics	Posted: Aug 17, 2008 1:55:30 PM Subject: DOWNLOADING/INSTALING Here is a very clearcut tutorial by a very knowledgeable guy. http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/linux-tutorials-howtos-reference-material/64958-how-install-software-linux.html Now if your still running in Mandriva have you updated your media software and packages by clicking on the red bottom right hand icon stating updates. After everything is updated go to add/remove software in your Menu choices and open it up to see if what you are trying to install is in the repositories. If it is just click the box and install.
