using audacity 1.2.4b with ubuntu 8.04.1

Subject: using audacity 1.2.4b with ubuntu 8.04.1
When I choose to download audacity only the latest release (9....) is available. However, I need Audacity 1.2.4b. How can I get this release downloaded and installed within ubuntu 8.04.1?. Thanks very much for your help.

Is there any special reason you want to use 1.2.4? http://packages.ubuntu.com/search?keywords=audacity
