Subject: Configuring Huawei's USB modem with mandriva Linux
HI, I'm using mandriva 2008 Linux my modem is Huawei's ETS2288 WLL phone which needs Texas Instrumental USB driver for configuring it in XP. My driver CD is having only XP driver. I want to configure it with Linux, when i connect in Mandriva it recognises phone as Texas Istrumental USB but device category is marked as unknown! I couldn't find the driver for the modem to use it in Linux. How can i configure this modem with Mandriva? Tried the question with Mandriva forum didn't get any answers.
