Thanks again. You have been most helpful. I definately have learned a lot from you. And the other option is xbdef for something like that for older laptops. Got it working fine. No sound, but that will be a different thread for me. Looks great and the background even sticks when I change it (as long as I am using JWM and not Fluxbox for some reason). I have become accustomed to hitting the prism2 button after starting up so I am not worried about that anymore. I definately will be helping others as my job is boring as hell and I have nothing else to.
