Subject: Which one is right for me?
Hello, this is my first post here and im just looking for some help on which distro of linux i should use. first off ill say my pc specs
Amd Athlon 64 3000+ 1.8 GHz
1Gb Ram
160gb Hdd
ATI Radeon X1650Pro 512 Video Ram
Ive used UbuntU in the past and found it to be quite confusing and hard to get certain things to work, so im pretty much a newbie when it comes to linux.
I'm looking for the most stable one and easiest to use with updates and such and for it to fit on one 700mb cd-r and to be free. Id be using it for surfing the web, music, movies, and games.
Please any help would be appreciated
thank you.

Hello Four Twenty,
What version of Ubuntu did you use, and what exactly did you confusing and find hard to do?
First of all, you must understand that things get done in a different way in Linux, so you have to learn from scratch, forgetting all you know about doing things in windows.
I recommend you read this:

Ubuntu is one of the most begginer-friendly Linux distributions, but if want to try another one, go get Mandriva One 2009.
