Need Help booting Slax

LinuxLegend Joined: May 07, 2008 Posts: 7 Other Topics	Posted Oct 13, 2008 at 5:25:39 PM Subject: Need Help booting Slax I'm useing the tar on a usb,PNY Attache 2 gb, and I did EVERYTHING right, I followed the instutions, and when I go to boot it up, my computer said that there was no OS on it! please help... At first I tryed to change the bios, and it didn't work. Then, I went into the quick boot menu on the dell I got, didn't work, same response, so I'm using windows to type this, I'm tired of MS, Dang IT! Sorry for my rants, please help me. Don't get run over!

If you did this and installed the iso into your USB stick when you open the disk to see what is inside there should be more than just 1 file in it. There should be about 4 or 5 or 6 in the stick and I know for sure one of them will say boot. Also alot of mistakes when installing to USB is made because of wrong formatting. Without knowing more it is hard to figure out what went wrong when you say "and I did EVERYTHING right"
