Am I right in believing you can only use the linux partition when instaling programs in WINE? I sure would like to use another drive for progams to run under WINE but I do not think it is possible. Tell me what you think.

I wouldn't be surprised though, if there was some way to change the location of that directory. I'd recommend http://www.winehq.org/site/forums, where you can join the WINE mailing list.
