Subject: touching a subversion repo
Does it hurt anything to do a recursive touch on a subversion repository? I've got a repository stored on this system where old files are archived to tape, and this has caused some problems. I thought a recursive touch would keep the files current, but the guys around my work weren't sure if that would cause any problems with commits/checkouts/updates.

I would suggest posting this question to the subversion forums directly. I have the svn documentation and use it, but I don't administer it and don't have enough experience to answer your question with respect to what problems this may cause (touching old files/directories).
