Subject: Installing and whatnot...
I'm not sure if I'm in the right forum but here goes: I just downloaded the Puppy Linux 4.1.2 software from their site: http://www.puppylinux.org/downloads I'm not sure where to go from here, though. Is it possible to save it to a jumpdrive? The disk holds about 4 gigs worth of memory and the file size is only 94.3mb's. I want to know if it is possible to save it on to the jumpdrive, and if it is do i have to use some other software to change the file or whatever?

People say that if you play Microsoft programs backwards, you hear satanic things, but thats nothing. If you run them forwards, then they install Windows!

Download Unetbootin-304 from SourceForge.net and use it with your Puppy iso image. It will install a bootable (live) system on your jump drive. It is one of 7 distributions that I have successfully tested this past week to do just that.

Sometimes real fast is almost as good as real time. Remember, Google is your friend!
