Subject: help
i want to migrate from GNOME desktop environment of fedora 10 to KDE 4.1 how can i do it? i have installation DVD of fedora 10 can that help.

If you can't find all the packages required in yum (your package manager), you can download the rpm's from www.kde.org, which will make you navigate to this page: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/search/kde At least that's where I found them today! :-) One thing you might want to consider is that KDE 4.1 is still considered suitable only for "early adopters", and 4.2 is still in beta. I recommend that you install KDE 3.5 for a more reliable and complete desktop. Is there any particular reason why you need to use 4.1? [Modified by: Rubberman on January 13, 2009 09:08 AM]
