Subject: Red hat Linux 4.6 version USB Detection Problem
I have use in RED hat linux 4.6 version in my system i have use ACCER Mother Board After insert my USB penDrive my system could not detect the usb drive in Computer at GNOME Mode so i need solve the problem

You may need to alter the BIOS settings for the USB controllers so that Linux will be alterted to automount the drive. Also, if the drive has an NTFS file system on it, you will need to manually mount the drive. FWIW, can you upgrade to RedHat 5.2 (the current version)? It handles this stuff much better.
