                        Just guessing...if you run an install cd and point to the usb drive, would it be able to repartition? Then it might just install Grub like it would in an optical hd.                    </div>

                        It should do that. As far as the system hardware is concerned, when you boot from a USB device, it is the default system drive - your hard drive will be a mountable additional device. So, if you have partitioned your USB drive and placed a different OS on each partition, the boot loader can be configured to present each to you as an option, just like dual-booting a hard drive.<p class="hiddensignature">

                        I think you will only get the boot screen for whichever drive the hardware sees first, and that might not be the same one each time! It is better to boot with just the drive installed that you want to boot from, then once it is running, plug in the other - it should be detected and auto-mounted so you can get to files on both pen drives.<p class="hiddensignature">
