Subject: Linux distro for Acer Aspire 6920g
Hello. I have tried So many linux distros, And NO ONE Worked out of the box. The main problem is Network card and the soundcard. Can you Help me find one distro that are working out of the box? Thanks for Help.

Depending on your sound and wireless cards, there may not be a distro that works out of the box. The usual problem cards are anything made by Broadcom. They require proprietary firmware that Linux is not able to ship with the distro. Broadcom has released a linux driver for some of their cards, so we should be seeing more support out of the box in the future, but it is still proprietary, so distros that take a hard line against non-free software will still not support it out of the box. It's usually not too hard to get it working yourself, though. You would have to find out the exact chipset of the cards, however. The "lspci" command in linux will usually tell you all you need to know about the cards.
