Source Code Available for Ultumix Linux.

You complained that the source code was not available. I have a temporary link on my www.mindblowingidea.com/Ultumix site that goes to the PCLinuxOS source code. I'm currently downloading about 20GBs of source code and after I get it downloaded to my external hard drive I will try to compress it and make a torrent for people to download it from. That should be good enough for most people. even if I sat up an FTP server it would be much slower and less stable than a torrent. I don't have enough storage space on my server so I will most likely have to buy an external hard drive for my server to store this extra info on. By the time the download finishes I should be able to afford one I hope. So now there is not a reason to complain. Also I will be uploading a video that tells users how to use Ultumix to youtube. Once this is done I will also include a copy in Ultumix Linux for people to watch. :) That should be enough for now.

i want linux on my laptop heres my spec will it work on this spec intel pentium dual core processor 1gm memory 120gb hard disk widescreen TFT windows vista home premium would linux work on this coz i havent got a clue?

Hi! I'm using OS-X 10.4.11, Ubuntu 7.10, XP. Looking for a platform-independent note-taker I found NoteCase, Jreepad and FreeMind. While NoteCase runs fine on Ubuntu and XP, installation on OS-X fails, though Xcode-tools and developper-tools are installed, GTK via fink too. Double-clicking on notecase.app starts X11 and a terminal-window, nothing else. Did you manage to get it started, and how? Harald Lukas, Germany / hlukassi@aol.com
