I'm very excited about the fact that with the new Fedora 13 (pre-alpha) I now have 3D graphics running without having to install Nvidia binary blobs. It's true, installed Google Earth last night using the mesa-dri-drivers-experimental and have a fully functioning 3D app running with what I can tell has no degradation in speed.
There is a blog by Adam Williamson that also has info about some of the 3D games he got running using the same drivers here:

I've got a test box set up with Fedora 13 and I do believe I may not have to install binary blobs again. Kudos to the Nouveau devs, it was worth the wait.
