    RE: Linux advices for dummies
I have been using Ubuntu 12.04 since last Summer. I love it. I have the kde and compiz with cube effects (6 sides) and wobbly and transparent windows. I need to find a downloader that works well for movies from various sites. Any help please? I was using Jdownloader on Win 7, but windows crashed. I tried a few like multiget and such with no luck. Maybe I just don't know how to correctly use them? The Jdownloader site said they had 1 for linux, but I can't find it. Any tips also would be helpful since I am rookie to these downloaders.

    Wifi won't connect
My wifi will not connect on Ubuntu 12.04 Lts. It connects fine using Win 7 on same machine. It reads and shows all networks, but refuses to connect. HP media center pc m7277c

    USB not working
My USB quit working, partially. They all recognize a device is plugged in, but some won't work. Only my wireless mouse and keyboard work, but only in selected slots. It installed drivers for my Logitech webcam, but wont run. I have Ubuntu 12.04 Lts and Win 7 ultimate and does this on both O.S.'s. This just started happening. HP media center PC m7277c

RE: Problem with downloads on Fedora 17 64 bit
Thank you very much. Installed Ubuntu and working fine. Going to attempt zorin install from Ubuntu. Curious is all. I've seen things on youtube that interest me. I have Ubuntu on my more powerful PC running a 3GHz dual core and I love it. Silverlight Cert sites are my only problem such as Netflix. Gonna try Brazil server Netflix and see if that works. LOL

RE: Newer hardware, older OS and no software or drivers
Yes. I fixed. Motherboard no go cause Phoenix Tech. I bought tower and installed Ubuntu. No problems and am very happy. Also, I want to thank all you guys for your help on my other issues of getting zorin direct installed via grub2. It's the same system. :)Ever since I really started using Linux, I'm hooked and can't get enough. I just soak it all in. I really want a good source of reading material to teach myself more. Any suggestions??
