Hi all,
I am trying to find an app that can replace MS project for me... is there any?

Among those results in mfillpot's link is OpenProj which I can recommend 100%! When I was at college, we had a whole unit on using project but I didn't have M$ so I was stuck in the mud. Then I found OpenProj and finished my coursework faster than nearly everyone ;)
