Ark Linux is a Linux distribution meant primarily for the desktop. Its focus is on being as easy to use as possible while remaining technically sane. It is not directly based on any other distribution, but borrows from several others where it makes sense. Ark Linux is built around KDE and uses RPM and apt-get to manage installations.
