Zorin OS is an Ubuntu based Linux distribution that replicates the Windows graphical user interface to make it easier for Windows users to use. Zorin OS is faster than Windows, more reliable than Windows, open source and free.

I have used Zorin OS all versions (1 to 4). No doubt they are impressive, even if you don't consider as it looks like windows. I hope this distro will be going on the top from desktop users prospective. I have used Red Hat 7.2 back in 2001 or 2002, Ubuntu, Vector Linux, xPUD, Urdu Ubuntu, Urdu Slax, Puppy Linux, Linux Mint, Linux Gaming Live Distribution, Luit Linux, etc as well as dual boot with Windows, multiple Linux distro installation.

I can easily confirm that it is the best Linux distro I have used so far, from a desktop users prospective.

Even great for people that used Linux for a long time and its great for newcomers. This is basically Ubuntu with pre-installed apps.

I love this operating system on the windows XP look.
the whole reason i switched to Linux is because Windows XP will be outdated 2014, and i gotta find something because Microsoft is heading in the wrong direction.

I would like to say i still use this OS, but i have migrated to Ubuntu.

Though i think i would have just gone back to Windows if it wasn't for this operating system

I've have used other Linux distros but Zorin OS is by far the best. Super easy, cool desktop effects, it's great for someone migrating from windows to Linux.

ZORIN just keeps getting better and better. This is and has been my favorite version of Linux. The graphics have gotten faster and the audio has gotten better. I tend to multi boot my computers MACROSHAFT AND 1 or 2 Linux operating systems.

In general is perfect OS. It has most of the software necessarily for daily uses. It is comparable with most of the hardware and secure software.
Zorin is claimed to be a replacement for win xp or 7 !.
As far as I have found it doesn't even come close .
Admittedly the desktop looks something similar , and
the layout of the OS has a similar feel to win 95 .
The only two things I have found so far that have been
better than windows are the variety of apps available
and being able to use LiLi to put the OS on a USB drive.
The biggest problem is try to get any of my hardware working.
Luckily my d-link dongle worked so I could update the system.
Things that don't work include -: DVD burner , 2 x ati graphics cards
( very jerky applications ) , 2 x wifi cards .
To load any driver cd's for the system you need a cd player , whoops ,
no drivers for the player . Try downloading from the net for Zorin .
Two people tried but failed to get them going and the forum topic
was closed after that . ( common DVD burner too ) .
I do not want to become a programmer to be able to use a PC ,
those days should be gone by now ( 2014 not 1984 ) and if you are
a sado-masochistic type who needs to , good for you , but others of
us have lives to live . If I sold you a car with no steering wheel and
claimed it handled well , that , would be classed as false advertising .
To claim Zorin could replace xp or 7 is false advertising .
Until you replace coding on this system with self extracting and loading
drivers and programs you won't come close to converting people .
I like a lot of linux applications like gparted and openELEC , but wasting
my time trying to get an OS going when others work straight out of the
box isn't my definition of fun ,or useful .
