Am using BackTrack 5 on KDE and am lovin' it like so much! You just can't resist the breathtaking thrill working with the sea of tools and Apps developed to simply be the best.
You gotta try it!

BackTrack is a literal goldmine, chocked full of useful programs. Among many uses, it can be used for network analysis, diagnostics, and hacking ;) A very useful tool...
