Subject: OpenAFS Help please

Ok I'm working at a university that uses OpenAFS to connect clients. They previously used a version that installed and had config files in: /usr/vice/etc I install the new version and there is no such directory as /usr/vice... I'm told it moved...but no one seems to know where or why. I have instructions where I need to put Cell info into a krb5.conf file. Unfortunately there is no such file on my system.

Slackware 12
OpenAFS 1.4.7 pre 3 (I've tried a few older versions)

So if there are any guru's out there I'd appreciate the help. Can't seem to find any helpful info on the www.openafs.org website.

Thanks.

You need to setup kerberos before installing OpenAFS. If you have it already, look for the /etc/krb5.conf file. These links should help:
