Subject: X Window don't run with 16-bit color

----------------------------------------
PC: Compaq Deskpro EN; Mainboard: Intel i815 (82815)
Bridges: Intel 82801BA/CA/DB/EB PCI; Intel 82801BA ISA (LPC)
CPU: PIII-Coppermine 1GHz;
Video: Intel 815 4MB VRAM/64MB AGP (integrated)
OS: Linux Fedora Core 1 (2.6.24.5; gcc v3.3.2)
----------------------------------------

In kernel 2.6.24.5 I can run X Window with 15-bit or 24-bit color. When I run X in 16b depth I see mouse cursor and blue screen. After about 5 second screen sleeping - I can login, reboot system, run someone in bash shell
but I always see the blue screen. In log I see fatal error X Window. I try to compile kernel with and without framebuffer etc. but it didn't change result.

IMPORTANT: Linux with kernel 2.6.21-smp and 2.4.22 with such configuration works corectly.

Below is fragments of my '.config':

Maybe someone can resolve this problem?
Maybe it is one of bug of this kernel?
Maybe my hardware is tooooo old:)?
