I had an idea that I should make this material available in an open source project like format in return for a voluntary cancer research donation in memory of Linda. It has been successful beyond my wildest expectations and since Jan 2002 nearly 3000 students have sat in the virtual classroom and hopefully enjoyed the material. Cancer research the world over has also benefitted.
The Introduction to Linux Programming is the only course which still runs regularly and there are still plenty of seats available in the virtual classroom for the next session.”
